Every story we tell begins with an empty space. The same goes for the new headquarters of the Slovak tech company Innovatrics.

On the outskirts of Bratislava, an extraordinary building is taking shape — one with the ambition to become the most biometric building in the world. And we’re proud to be part of its story. Step by step, we’re crafting, delivering, and installing bespoke interiors made precisely for this unique place.

A building that recognizes its users

Innovatrics is a global leader in biometric technologies. Biometrics helps identify people through their unique physical features — such as facial recognition, fingerprints, or iris patterns. Now, these technologies are becoming an integral part of everyday life in the company’s new headquarters.

No access cards or keys will be needed inside. Identification happens automatically, seamlessly, and with a high level of security. The entire concept reflects Innovatrics’ DNA — technological boldness, belief in innovation, and responsibility toward the environment we live and work in.

The goal is to create a space where people feel natural, safe, and inspired — a space that attracts new talent and captures the attention of the professional community.

Architecture inspired by a fingerprint

The building was designed by the architectural studio A.M. architects. Its organic form draws from the lines of a human fingerprint — the most distinctive biometric feature. The irregular floor plan, cascading levels, and elegant façade create a composition that feels both technological and deeply human.

The interiors were designed by the Inflow studio, which infused them with the same core values — blending advanced technology with human scale, comfort, and natural warmth.

The building will host more than 350 workstations and will serve not only as the company’s administrative headquarters but also as a space for startups, a technology campus, and a biometric solutions showroom — a living demonstration of what Innovatrics develops for the world.

A bespoke interior solution for the building of the future

At the heart of the interior lies an oval atrium that spans all floors and culminates in a skylight at the very top. The monumental spiral staircase, floor-to-ceiling skylight, and carefully integrated technological details all demand absolute precision and seamless coordination across every trade.

Our task is to bring the architectural vision to life in tangible form. Under our hands, meeting rooms, unique workspace solutions, and both built-in and freestanding pieces of custom-made furniture are taking shape.

Technology in harmony with nature

In this building, sustainable solutions aren’t an add-on — they’re an integral part of its identity. It draws on geothermal energy, uses a thermally activated concrete core for heating and cooling, features photovoltaic panels, and employs intelligent shading. Rainwater will be collected for irrigation and flushing, while the interiors will rely primarily on locally sourced materials.

Living greenery will thrive not only in the central atrium but also across each floor, creating an environment that nurtures well-being, creativity, and respect for natural resources.

Opening: end of 2025

This large-scale project is nearing completion. Being part of its realization is a recognition of our ability to design and manufacture furniture that meets the highest technological and aesthetic standards. It’s an honor to contribute to a building that embodies the future of workplace design.
