In the wine region town of Veselí nad Moravou, you’ll find a place with an unforgettable atmosphere — the portside Dog in Dock Bistro. Its unique boat-shaped building along the Baťa Canal stands out at first sight, while inside you’re greeted by stylish industrial furniture in dark tones that perfectly complements the “wooden deck” and the overall design of the interior.
For the bistro, we supplied custom-made furniture mainly in shades of grey and black. No bistro is complete without a proper counter — and here, there are several.
The long bar counter with the bistro’s logo features a distinctive herringbone-patterned cladding. Another buffet counter has a distinctly industrial look thanks to perforated sheet metal, beautifully paired with the worktop surface. This counter primarily serves guests from the Dog in Dock apartments located nearby.
We also produced built-in cabinets for the bistro area, the sauna, and a custom storage unit beneath the solid oak staircase.
Dog in Dock Bistro offers not only great food and atmosphere but also some of the finest wines from Moravia. At its heart is a custom-built self-service wine dispenser that practically invites you to enjoy a glass. The unit, measuring 2.5 meters in both length and height, was crafted by our joiners with millimeter precision to fit the professional wine preservation system — Vinojet.
The dispenser, featuring both local and international wines, is located at the center of the bistro — and you definitely shouldn’t leave without trying it. Just a friendly warning: it’s highly addictive. As they say in Moravia, there’s no such thing as too much wine.
