PKV Offices in the Iconic Vlněna Complex in Brno
A project of exceptional scale and design — these are the new high-end offices of PKV. The new workspace for PKV, a leader in energy consultancy, is located in the iconic Building I of the Vlněna complex in Brno. Architect Ing. arch. Andrea Pastrnek created an inspiring four-floor interior using modern, timeless elements. The custom-made furniture combines contemporary aesthetics with functionality, emphasizing the unique character of the space.
This project won the prestigious Office of the Year 2024 award.
Timeless design and furniture with smooth, curved forms
For the PKV offices, all timeless and sustainable furniture and fittings were designed with distinctive rounded shapes — not a single sharp edge was used. The curved motif appears on desks, meeting tables, planters, the reception desk, the bar, and even built-in wardrobes. A signature feature is also the surface finish: most furniture pieces are made from durable, high-gloss white laminate. The cohesive design is enhanced by bold upholstered accents, natural greenery, and dynamic lighting in varying colors.
