Supporting young students and newcomers to our trade makes sense to us – and it’s our future, too. Furniture making and design need a constant flow of inspiration, innovation and the kind of enthusiasm the young generation clearly has.
We set future joiners up from day one with proper tools.
We meet new joinery students right at the start of their training.
We welcome them to our workshop in Rousínov, where they see how our company works. We introduce them to every profession involved in furniture making that might interest them one day.
Finally, our master joiner hands each of them a toolbox they’ll put to good use during their studies and work placements.
Students bring the ideas,
we bring the know-how.
We inspire each other.
Our experience is the most valuable thing
we can – and want to – pass on to the next generation.
We’ve been making furniture for 80 years. Our master joiners really do have something to pass on to young makers, and their skill and knowledge are irreplaceable in every way.
Joiners gain real skills on their work placements.
Students come to us regularly for work placements. Guided by our joiners, they work as part of a team and try out every process, the machinery and modern technology. They see how a whole project runs from start to finish – and learn an approach to the craft that takes commitment and passion.
We open our workshop to students for their final projects.
We work with young furniture designers on their university degree projects. We advise them on the practical side of their work and are glad to help them make furniture of their own design.

To make placements fun for young joiners, we’ve come up with a game called:
Kick-start your career as a digital joiner!
In the game, young joiners try out the role of design engineer, project manager or cost estimator.
On the shop floor they gain experience, earn a financial reward and kick-start their career as digital joiners at Woodever.
We know how to reward talent.
We cheer on joiners at the national championship.
Every year we’re a proud partner of the Czech National Joinery Championship and sit on its jury, where the most gifted joiners in our craft show what they can do.
Seeing the drive and enthusiasm of young joiners in competition always brings us joy – and hope that our craft will live on for another hundred years.
We offer scholarships to gifted students.
We award scholarships to talented joiners twice a year. We enjoy following their work and progress, and we’re always delighted when they join our team of digital joiners in Rousínov after they graduate.
We work with furniture design students
on developing new products.
We’re glad to support talented designers in making furniture of their own design. With product development,
they’re helped by our experienced design engineers, and together with our joiners the furniture takes real shape.
