Multifunctional living in a small space
This project is the interior of a small flat, where centimetres decide everything. The result is a studio apartment planned around getting the most out of a limited footprint.
The key element is a central furniture wall that separates the living zone from the work corner. It holds both open and closed storage, and hides a pull-out, extending dining table.
In the narrow sleeping alcove we made a bespoke bed with integrated power sockets, a shelf, and a solution for routing around the radiator. A sliding Japanese-style screen closes the space off when needed.
The kitchen has a deeper worktop, 70–80 cm, set at a height of 98 cm. The upper storage runs on above the door and continues into an integrated fridge with a wardrobe alongside.
The result is an interior where non-standard furniture is the main tool for making the most of a tight layout.
