Standard furniture in a role that suits it
When I.T.S. Spedition decided to move its offices to new premises in Brno, the company was not looking for a furniture supplier. It wanted a partner to help create a working environment where people feel good and have proper conditions for office work. They chose us because they were drawn to honest craft, quality of execution and clean design.
From bespoke to a smart standard solution
The original plan called for an entirely bespoke interior. During preparation, though, we arrived together at a more practical and more economical option: a design built on standard furniture, ready-made pieces from our TYPO collection. Moving to a standard solution was no compromise. On the contrary, it let us keep the quality and the considered design while stay within budget.
A good space for everyday office work
The brief was clear: the new interior had to offer a comfortable, ergonomic and calm environment for everyone. The client set out three key requirements:
- Ergonomics first – we added desk screens to electrically height-adjustable desks; staff brought their quality office chairs from the previous premises, having invested in them earlier.
- Enough privacy and quiet to work – we separated workstations with screens and low cabinets with integrated planters, which also bring greenery and a pleasant sense of division.
- A pleasant atmosphere – muted furniture colours, plenty of planting and a simple, modern design that does not intrude and quietly lifts the whole space.
Standard furniture that works like a bespoke solution
We fitted out the interior – open plan, two separate offices, a meeting room and a kitchen – with quality standard furniture from the TYPO collection. It includes height-adjustable desks, mobile pedestals, office cabinets and other pieces that combine easily. TYPO neatly connects the advantages of series production with the ability to respond to a specific space.
The planter cabinets were not originally part of the TYPO collection, but the client wanted them to separate the workstations and at the same time bring in living greenery. Our standard production system let us design them quickly as a non-standard element, matching the other pieces in style and proportion. The plants helped divide the space visually and gave it a more natural, more agreeable atmosphere.
A change of plan? No problem, with good organisation
Changes can come up on any project – in the design, the requirements or the programme. What matters is responding quickly and flexibly. That is what the project manager is for: holding the process together, finding solutions and keeping everything moving to the satisfaction of the client.
The change from bespoke to standard furniture came during the project, so our time for the work itself was much shorter. The handover date stayed fixed. The finish was mainly about good organisation and coordinating every trade. It was tight, but we managed it – we handed over the interior on time and complete. says Milan Havlíček, the project manager in charge of the work.
A result we are proud of
We designed and built the interior to serve well without losing any of its simple elegance. It is ergonomic, legible and pleasant for daily work. The result is an agreeable office environment that looks modern, works practically and allows individual pieces to be added or moved with ease.

The feedback from the client confirmed that standard furniture can deliver a high standard without a more complex bespoke design. And most important of all, the new office does its job: it supports focused work and gives the whole team quiet and comfort.
