Lokal Bakers bakery boutique
The new bakery boutique by craft bakers Lokal Bakers sits inside a large shopping centre. We built the bespoke unit to the client’s brief and to the Lokal Bakers visual identity.
The material palette suits the trade beautifully. Hard-wearing laminate boards in a deep green, combined with a light wood decor, let the golden colour of the bread do the talking. The unusual shape of the unit, with no sharp corners, makes it original, and the strong colour makes it easy to spot. We also made the glass display cabinets.
Lokal Bakers: two crafts in one place
The Lokal Bakers boutique is a fine meeting of two honest crafts. Bread from local craft bakers, in a piece built by our joiners, stands for real quality and for a return to traditional trades — and working on a project like that is simply a pleasure.
