Playground in a shopping centre

For a shopping centre we built a children’s playground with plenty to play on. The largest pieces were two bears, shipped to us across the Atlantic from the USA. The playground has an organic shape and is made from tough, hard-wearing plywood, clad in laminate in a wood decor so that everything matches. And because a child’s world needs colour, we added trees, a slide and interactive boards, with upholstery in the same tones.

Making a playground this size is demanding, but it is also so unusual and so interesting that the whole team waited for the result with a mix of nerves and excitement.

The playground belongs to the children now, and we hope they enjoy it — and have plenty of fun with the bears.
