The 2-in-1 office pedestal: small but clever

A desk and a pedestal – furniture no office or home study does without. In our time we have made countless pedestals, and they are part of our complete fit-outs of commercial interiors. What people ask of office furniture is gradually changing, and ergonomics and multifunctionality now come first. So we recently gave our office pedestal a small facelift and took ten centimetres off its waist.

A pedestal and a seat for a colleague in one?

The main advantage of our pedestals is simple: they take up little room under the desk and you can sit on them comfortably. With an upholstered top and castors they double as an extra seat. You have surely had to discuss something quickly with a colleague from the next office. The thought of them wheeling their chair across the whole company is noisy and not really practical – and sitting down does make a conversation easier, does it not?

What can our pedestal do?

• it is made to your wishes – you choose the carcass material, the fronts, the upholstery colour and the handles
• it has a comfortable upholstered seat and works as an extra place to sit
• it is mobile – roll it left or right, or lend it to a colleague next door
• it can be lockable, which makes it ideal for important documents you need to hand

For its size it does a great deal, and you still have room and comfort under the desk.
