What will working with us look like?

7 steps to the perfect interior

The best results come down to detail, deadlines and smooth coordination. To eliminate any risk, we’ve set up a transparent process split into 7 clear phases.

That gives you a complete overview of what happens at each stage in our workshop, how the on-site schedule runs, and what we’ll need from you at each step.

Preparation

Delivery

Detailed quotation

We take costing seriously and price every project down to the last detail. The result is a full breakdown of costs by item and material, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.

Along with the quotation, we send you the programme and delivery date based on our current capacity. From the start, you’ll know exactly where you stand — not just on price and quality, but on exactly when we’ll deliver your project.

Signing the contract

By signing the contract, we bindingly reserve production capacity for your project and turn the plans into reality. At this point, your project is taken over by your dedicated project manager. They’ll be your main point of contact throughout the project and ensure smooth coordination between you, the architect, our design engineers, and production.

Preparing the Final Project Brief

In joinery, more than almost anywhere else, “measure twice, cut once” holds true. That’s why we start refining the technical detail of your project as soon as the contract is signed. The result is a binding document — the Final Project Brief (FPB) — in which we clarify every expectation before production begins, so we avoid misunderstandings on site and get as close as possible to exactly what you want.

At a project meeting, we build our expertise into the FPB: we survey the space, check that the materials are suitable, confirm finishes on physical samples, and define the construction details. We think through countless details in advance, so you can be completely certain.

What is the Final Project Brief?

The Final Project Brief turns the original design (for example, from an architect) into a concrete, technically accurate reality. Based on a professional survey of the space, it clarifies the differences between the visualisation and the actual conditions on site. We propose sensible, functional construction changes and fine-tune the details so that everything fits and works perfectly.

It’s a complete document that leaves no room for guesswork. It lets us clarify every expectation before the machines even start. That gives you complete certainty: you know exactly what materials your furniture will be made from, how the technical details will be resolved, and what your interior will actually look like.

Example from the FPB: clarifying materials and the construction solution based on the as-built survey.

Example from the FPB: a functional construction solution for a cabinet, with consultation on changes from the original design.

We can’t start production until the FPB has been signed off. This document represents binding approval of the final form the piece will be manufactured to.

Signing off the Final Project Brief

By signing the FPB, you give the project the green light, and we hand it over to our design engineers. From this point on, everything runs at full speed according to plan.

Changes are still possible after this point, but they get complicated — they mean redrawing documentation, disrupting production, or amending material orders. Any additional change can therefore increase the price and push back the completion date.

The FPB is the bible of the whole project. In it, we review the real, as-built survey and align every last millimetre with the client on what can actually be manufactured. That means no unpleasant surprises on site, and production runs completely without a hitch.

Engineering Preparation

In this phase, we turn the design into precise production data and 3D models — a direct part of manufacturing and the foundation of our digital joinery, which is why everything fits perfectly at installation. Because we sign off on every detail with you in the previous step (the FPB), these drawings are used purely by our own workshop.

If you’d still like the technical drawings sent to you for review and consultation, that’s available as an optional service for a 5% surcharge on the project price. Any changes made after the FPB has been signed off are treated as chargeable extra work, which can affect the final price and delivery date.

Delivery Timeline

To start production and keep to the planned programme, we need:

  • the on-site survey completed
  • the Final Project Brief signed off
  • materials, finishes and every other project detail confirmed

If any of these steps are delayed, or if changes are made after the FPB has been signed off, the completion date may shift accordingly.

Production

We manufacture in our own production facility, run on the principles of modern digital joinery. Advanced digital project management gives us complete oversight of every stage of production, letting us hold to agreed deadlines and standards.

Installation

We deliver the finished elements to site and carry out professional installation. We follow an agreed programme and always try to work around the operations of the space where the project is taking place.

Handover

Your project manager personally walks the finished project through with you, you check every detail, and everything is confirmed with a handover protocol.

We provide a full warranty on our products and are on hand for any warranty or post-warranty service. That gives you the certainty that your interior will always be professionally looked after.

The benefits of digital joinery keep paying off in future

Handover isn’t the end for us. We store every project digitally, including 3D models and production data.

That means we can pick the project back up at any point in the future — whether for alterations, extensions, or further phases of the interior. There’s no need for complicated re-surveying or hunting down the original solution: everything is documented and ready for further work.

Are you looking for someone who will be there for you and bring your new interior to life?

Schedule a meeting with us, and together we’ll find the right solution.
