Community and cultural centre

This community and cultural centre was, above all, a survey job. Most of the work was cladding — walls, window reveals and round columns — and every piece had to sit to the millimetre, so the preparation phase decided everything.

Once the survey was done, we could start manufacturing. The photo gallery shows the frame for the round column cladding on our shop floor, so you can see what’s underneath. Visitors to the hall never will. A job like this can look unglamorous, but it’s exactly where we get to show our craft, what the material can do, and the quality of non-standard production that leaves no room for deviation. We didn’t skip the details either — solid wood ventilation grilles, for instance. Solid wood also went into the stair treads by the stage. Mostly, though, we worked with laminate in a mountain oak decor.

The hall is now waiting for its opening night, and we wish it as many dancing shoes and as much fun as the year can hold.
