Woodever fitted out the new offices of MaDe, reception included, to a design by studio MOODEN. The design answered the client’s brief and the distinctive, playful visual identity of the company — a maker of children’s toys. The palette is grey and white, picked out with graphic elements of the company mascot.
Reception is dominated by a lacquered counter in the company colours and a backlit logo on timber cladding. On the first floor there is a company kitchen with an island, dining and bar tables, and chairs with coloured Rim upholstery. Dividing screens with frosted film and geometric elements keep the space open while giving people enough privacy.
The managing director’s office has a bespoke L-shaped desk with a pull-out top, together with storage units and a comfortable sofa.
The other offices got height-adjustable desks with upholstered screens in grey and white on black frames, plus mobile pedestals with a lockable drawer, so each workstation can be set up to suit.
